Since then, I’ve worked with a range of artists, building a portfolio of photos that reflect my growing skills and love for capturing live music. My goal is to showcase the energy, emotion, action, and atmosphere of every concert I shoot.
My passion for concert photography began in late 2022 at a small venue with just a few hundred people. Standing at the back, I noticed how most of the crowd was focused on recording the gig, trying to capture it all. But I found myself doing something different—I was using my phone’s camera to zoom in and capture individual moments in time. The next day, after carefully editing a few shots with my phone’s built-in photo editor, I realised how much I loved the experience.
I haven’t stopped since, building upon my skills and deepening my passion at every gig I’ve attended. Photography truly enthrals me. Each moment is fleeting—you only get one chance at every shot, and there’s a constant balance of settings, angles, and creativity to consider. But for me, nothing compares to the thrill of capturing those moments.
In addition to my main portfolio, this site features an archive of every photo I’ve shot and edited, organised by artist. It’s available to explore in the sidebar if you’re curious.
I used to use my phone, a Pixel 8 Pro, to take photos on. I have recently upgraded to a Sony a6700 APS-C mirrorless camera with an 18-135mm lens.
